I posted a message in the general discussion area of the forums but when I tried to use the formatting icons (Bold, Italic, Quote) nothing seems to happen.
Thought you would be interested.

Maybe a permissions thing.

Changed my permissions to be the same as yours - still working.

Something must not be working at your end. Not sure if others are having same problems.

What browser (and version) are you using Dave? I'm on Firefox but I can try using IE or Chrome readily enough. See if we can find where it is falling down.

Using Windows IE 8 with Win7.

it doesn't work for me either - no great loss. Also Win7 with IE8 64bit
